Description

Emergency First Aid at Work

As of 01 April 2021, all learners enrolling in Door Supervision or Security Guard training for the first time are required to hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate. This is a crucial requirement to meet the standards set by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

To ensure compliance with these regulations, training centres must confirm that each learner has completed a certified First Aid or Emergency First Aid course. This qualification is essential, not only for your training but also to help you perform your duties safely and effectively in the workplace.

If you’ve already completed a First Aid or Emergency First Aid course, we simply need you to provide your valid certificate before you begin your Door Supervision or Security Guard training. Please ensure that your certificate is valid for at least 12 months from the start date of your training.

Taking the step to get certified in First Aid isn’t just a requirement—it’s a valuable skill that equips you to handle emergency situations with confidence. Whether you’re looking to boost your career or enhance your personal skill set, having a valid First Aid certification makes you an even more capable and responsible professional.
